Fire crews from around Mason County respond to help contain a wildland fire in Skokomish River area.  The fire was initially dispatched on Wednesday August 17, 2011 around 3:00 pm.  Over 10 agencies were dispatched to assist Department of Natural Resources in containing the 50 plus acre fire.  Crews from Mason County Fire District 2 were on scene for several days providing assistance with a wildland fire engine and water tanker.
