Mason County Fire District 2 :: Chief Beau Bakken

Beau Bakken has served the citizens of North Mason for nearly 15 years. Raised in Bremerton, Beau began with the Fire District in its volunteer resident firefighter training program at the age of 19. Beau attended paramedic school in Tacoma and was hired by the Fire District in 1999 as a firefighter/paramedic. Since then Beau has worked hard to attain the rank of Lieutenant and Captain. Beau was appointed as the District’s Fire Chief in 2007. He recently served as the President of the North Mason Rotary Club and volunteers in numerous community events. Beau has obtained an Associates Degree from Bellevue College and a BS degree in Fire Service Administration from Eastern Oregon University. Beau is currently enrolled in the Executive Masters In Public Administration degree program at the University of Washington. Beau and his wife Brittney reside in the Twanoh Falls neighborhood.
