Ryan was born and raised in Bremerton, WA. In 1996 he graduated from High school in Bremerton, Wa then moved to Ellensburg's Central WA University where he completed a BS in Paramedicine 2002. In 2002 Ryan started at Mason County Fire District 2 as a resident, and was hired as a paramedic in April of 2003. Ryan was promoted in 2007 to the rank of Lieutenant and 2010 to the rank of Captain. He currently lives in Bremerton with his wife and two daughters.
